‘‘WELCOME TO REWA ECO-LODGE’’

A Community-run eco-lodge in the heart of Guyana

Discover Rewa Eco Lodge: A Sanctuary of Culture in the Heart of Guyana.

Nestled at the confluence of the Rewa and Rupununi Rivers, Rewa Eco Lodge offers a rare opportunity to immerse yourself in one of the world’s most untouched ecosystems. Surrounded by lush rainforests, vibrant wildlife, and the rich heritage of the Macushi, Patamona, Wapishana, and Waiwai tribes, Rewa is a nature lover’s dream come true.

Our village is home to 361 villagers who live in harmony with the land, practicing sustainable farming and traditional way of life. Here, you’ll find a close-knit community that thrives on the principle of ‘‘self-help’’, where neighbors come together to build and grow for the benefit of all.

Founded in 2005 with the support of Conservation International, Rewa Eco Lodge was born from a desire to protect our land for future generations. By transforming our approach to conservation, we shifted from hunting to preserving the incredible biodiversity of our region. Today, we welcome travelers from around the world to experience the wonders of the rainforest while supporting conservation and the livelihoods of our people.

Join us at Rewa Eco Lodge, where adventure, sustainability, and cultural connection awaits. Let us share our rainforest home with you as you embark on unforgettable experiences-whether it’s tracking wildlife, catching one of the largest freshwater fish in the world - the Arapaima, or simply soaking in the peaceful rhythms of the jungle!
